Mini Monster Book

I'm starting to make my grandson's Halloween present.  He loves ALL the monsters on the Mini Monster cartridge.  So, I'm making an 8 by 11 1/2 binder with a page for each monster.  As I get the pages completed, I will put pictures of them on a separate page on this blog.

I'm using "Slimy" as an entry for the "Listen to the Rhythm of the Falling Rain" challenge for  Paper Playtime Challenge -Use any type of water on the project.

Slimy from our book of Mini Monsters.

Cricut:
Mini Monsters - Both Slimys
From My Kitchen & Paper Dolls for Everyday - schools of fish
Cricut Sampler - waves
Recollections card stock  DP-? from my stash
gems,  nail heads, and dew drops

Hope you like it.  Leave a comment if you have time.

Cricut Cardz Challenge #43

Here's my entry for this weeks challenge over at Cricut Cardz Challenge. "Challenge #43, make a card for a new baby using any cartridges you'd like, and the colors green, orange, yellow and white ONLY." Let me tell you, these color challenges really make you think.  Orange is not a color I think of for a newborn.  But thanks to Nanna's Nursery Stack I found some papers that worked together.  The Welcome Baby is cut from Lyrical Letters.  I think that is my favorite font cartridge.  It is delicate but there are so many extra images.  The baby buggy is from Cricut Sampler, although I think it is a cut from New Arrival also.  I added lots of bling from my stash.  The off white clouds are from Spare Parts (I think) and are "threaded" with strips of green paper.  The yellow background paper is from another stack of baby prints, but I lost the cover so I don't know which one.  It's probably DCWV papers from last year.

Hope you like it.  Please leave a comment if you have the time.  Thanks Sue

Does anyone even use baby buggies anymore?  All I see are strollers.

Onesie Card

"It's Hip Not To Be Square" over at Cowgirl's Sunday Stamp'em Challenge .

This shaped card is created using the onsie cut on Cricut Sampler Cartridge.  I welded two together to make a card for this challenge.  The Welcome Baby is a cut from  Cricut Holiday Cakes.  The papers are from DCWV Nursery stack.  The button brads are from Eyelet Outlet & Brads.
Thanks for stopping by.  Leave a comment if you have a chance.
