Thanksgiving Card- Cuttlebug Cuts

I used some interesting supplies for this Thanksgiving card:
Most of the leaves were cut using paint sample cards.  I used the Cuttlebug 2-Inch-by-2-Inch Dies (Set of 4), Fall Leaves to cut the leaves. The veins were made by hand with a stylus.
I used the Tsukineko's Sheer Shimmer Frost on the card front.  These pictures were taken outside this morning and the frost really shines!

I removed the center from a 4" white doily and then stained it with Memento inks (dandelion, canteloupe and tangelo) and edged everything with TH Distress Ink (antique photo).  The card stock was from DCWV assorted packs, the gems are Recollections, and last but not least the stamp is Stampendous.  Here's the inside of the card.

I'm entering this at the CCR challenge "The Challenge: Create A new project with the theme Thank you, Thanksgiving or a Turkey!"

Fashionista Purse

I made this purse for an upcoming birthday this week.  I so love to get ideas from Amy at Love To Scrap and her fashion purse is fun and adorable.  I used Color Bok glimmer pastel card stock and Me and My Big Ideas designer paper.  The cording is Red Heart plastic canvas cord.

Finished Project:
Though you can't tell from the photos, the base of the card is a beautiful lavender glimmer color and is really shinny.  The paper is glossy.  My camera is all messed up (let's not blame the photographer huh?)
Here is a side view.
Here are the pictures of the purse opening.
I really  messed the color up in this photo. The purse explodes into a 12" by 12" matted mini album.

Here's a closeup of the tag.  I "fancied" it up with some purple pearls and one single rhinestone in the center.
Check out Amy's blog, she makes the greatest surprise minis!!  This was my first time on this mini style, but it went together in an hour or two.  Lots of fun to make and a great little gift box too!
