Christmas card #4 has a touch of a romantic style. I love traditional red and green, but I also like to add some softness or whimsy to cards.
My friend June gave me some beautiful stick pins and crocheted flowers. Check out her blog, she's an amazing artist. You'll find it here. I think the crocheted ecru flower is a good match with the deep red Prima roses. I love the sparkle in the bead on the pin. It reminds me of a snow globe. Thanks June, I couldn't have made this card without your talent.
"Happy Holidays" is cut from Joys of the Season, and I used a Sizzix folder to emboss the dark green card stock. I don't remember the name of the folder and I didn't label them - duh.
Here's a closeup of the flowers.
Thanks for stopping by. If you have a moment, leave a comment. I'd love to hear from you.
Sue
