I created this diaper cake for a baby shower this Saturday. I've seen many of them on the web, but have never tried to make one before. I will post some urls of blogs I visited to get inspiration at the bottom of this post. My sweet, sweet son took before and after pictures for me to post. So, here goes.

The paper is from DCWV Stack 7 and Recollections white card stock. The flowers are from Prima and the silver cord is plastic canvas cording from DMC. There's my stork I posted a few days ago. The white "icing" pattern is from StoryBook. It is one of the border cuts. I welded two together and made them 4 1/4 inches by 11 1/2 inches long. They are glued on 4 inch strips of blue paper before I wrapped the layers.
