Pumpkin Patch Card

This is a standard A2 card (5 1/2 by 4).  The base is white card stock.  The first layer is 4 by 5 1/4, the second is 3 3/4 by 5. Both papers are from GCD called Autumn Afternoon.  I cut the pumpkins (3 pumpkins cut twice each) from the Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge on page 33 Accessory 1- shift.  I cut them at 3.10 inches.  One layer was cut on moss green paper from my stash and the other layer on orange card stock from Recollections.  I used my gypsy (can't remember what the function is called) to eliminate the jack-o-lantern face cuts on two of the pumpkins and left them for the center pumpkin.  Those cut lines were highlighted with green chalk.  The eyes are highlighted with white and black gel pens. The "Pumpkin Patch" tag, stars, moon with bats and night stickers were stickers from my stash.  Under the pumpkins I cut a three inch piece of DMC memory thread.  It worked great to make the vine.  I wrapped it around a paint brush then flattened the loops.  It is held onto the card by a single glue dot in the center and parts of the foam tape that raise the pumpkins from the card base.  Since this is a card for OWH I leave as much white in the inside as possible for the soldiers to write home.  I cut a 1 1/4 by 3 1/4 inch strip of green and rounded the corners. The happy halloween is from the Holiday Cakes cartridge on page 75.  Both the plain phrase and the plain phrase shadow were cut at .95.  The brad came from The Eyelet Outlet www.eyeletoutlet.com  I love their varieties.  Thanks for taking a peek.
