Halloween cards for Operation Write Home are do in September so I've started making them. I cannot send this one because I chose to emboss it and they don't accept glittery cards. But I do like these cuts.
Papers used: Recollections white, black and orange card stock. A lime green card stock from my stash. I don't remember where it came from.
I heat embossed the orange with MS crystal embossing powder. I used the Zyron machine to apply glue before embossing. It worked very well.
On the Holiday Cakes cartridge the Halloween items are all called "SPOOKY". The haunted house image is on page 35 and the phrase image is on page 75. I welded to of the base shadows (flipping one upside down) to make the card. It was cut in white card stock. All cuts are 5". The haunted house is the shift cut on page 35 cut in black card stock. I used the plain base cut the background in orange. I removed the fence, porch, and chimney before I embossed it. The "BOO" is the plain phrase cut at 5 inches. I cut two of them and glued them together so they stood out from the card front.
This scan does not do the image justice. the background is a very pretty shimmery orange, but the image came out beige.
Hope you like it.
