Borders & Edging with Cricut

As soon as my PaperWishes catalog comes I start drooling.  So many things, so little time, but more than that so little money and space.  I love the Tonic border system so I thought I'd play around and see if I can duplicate some of the edges with my Gypsy.  I came up with a few so far and I thought I'd share them.  Trust me, they are easy to make.  If you click on the pictures, you'll see there are some nubs on the witch images.  Those were the only trimmings I had to make.  The red borders are cut at 1.5 inches by 11.5 inches. (I only have the baby bug.)  The white borders are cut at 2 or 2.5 inches by 11.5 inches.  These would be used for scrapbooks.  I will be trying to make some smaller ones for card.  Just think of all the possibilities. LOL
Thanks for stopping by.

  2. Hi Sue, Your borders look great - thanks for letting me know about them. I am happy to know that I inspired you!
Even with the Expression it is difficult to get a true 12 x 12 cut. You have to plan the placement and then hand trim a bit to make it work. WIth the 12 x 24 mat you can do a bit more but the calibration is still off a bit sometimes.
